We are pleased to announce our first Bournville & Kings Heath Ladies Summer League, which is organised by Sarah Powell from our club, for teams across the region to compete in.
Teams are organised into pool A and B, with pool A designed for higher ability teams. Games take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays evenings, with a break for the May half-term. The tournament is round-robin style with a winner announced in July.
We also have a wildcard team, in which any player from any team, or indeed no team, can sign up for matches as and when they wish. This is great for university students returning for the Summer and people new to the area. Click on the link below to join the Facebook page and keep an eye out for requests for players.
Be sure to set your availability for the three of our BKH games, as well as a 4th team entered into the Olton Summer League. The men's summer league begins 13th May, where we have entered three teams.
